Who is Keyanoush?
I’m interested in finding truths, but we live in a dynamic world where our perspectives and facts change in light of new discoveries. My biggest goal is to learn, question, and relearn. I urge my readers to keep an open mind, especially those of you in the investing world.
I have a Master's degree in electrical engineering from the RWTH Aachen. I studied and worked abroad. Most notably, my time in Silicon Valley, where I worked with exemplary people who were always willing to question the current state yet take risks and act on their decisions, which in light of the current state of knowledge, was the way forward.
I started investing in Bitcoin in 2014 and experienced the first $1000 bubble. Over time, I honed and even changed my investing style due to new knowledge I acquired through books and discussions with successful investors.
For 90% of investors, the right path is to invest in index funds. That’s statistically and thus logically the only low-risk and sustainable way forward. That doesn’t mean you can’t allocate 5-10% of your portfolio for specific bets you’d like to take. Especially when you’re a bit younger. Just know that over a 30-year period, only a few LUCKY ones could outperform index investing.
